AUTHORITIES killed the number 4 most wanted person in Angeles City, Pampanga in a drug bust on Wednesday, April 4.
Cris Rosales allegedly drew his firearm when he realized he was dealing with policemen in Hadrian Extension 3, Mt. View Subdivision, Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Police Regional Office 3 director Chief Superintendent Amador Corpuz said his men were prompted to fire back and kill the suspect.
Corpus said Rosales ranked no. 4 in Angeles City's most wanted motorcycle-riding suspects and was also included in the city's drugs watchlist.
He said further investigation also revealed that Rosales has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 62 for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Corpus said Rosales was also charged with robbery and carnapping before the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
Recovered from the suspect were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected illegal drugs and one caliber .38 revolver loaded with five ammunition.
“This accomplishment only goes to show that we are relentless in our waging war on illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting a wide range pro-active approach/strategy in our fight against all forms of criminality,” said Corpus. (SunStar Philippines)
