DAR computer programmer nabbed, 1 other in Toledo City

TWO suspected drug personalities, including a government employee, were caught past 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in Sitio Luray I, Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City, Cebu.

Superintendent Mina Domingo, the city police chief, identified the suspects as Dale Cyrus Jeresen Orat, 34, and Mayflor Catigbe Montesa, 36.

Montesa is an agrarian reform programmer and technologist of the Department of Agrarian Reform.

Orat was the target of the City Drug Enforcement Unit operatives.

Domingo said both suspects were newly identified drug personalities operating in the city.

The suspects had reportedly disposed of their supply before they were caught.

Seized from the suspects were 0.15 gram of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,500.

Two marked bills and P350 cash believed to be illegal proceeds were also confiscated from the suspects, who will face complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
