WITHDRAWN. The ordinance that required motorcycle drivers to wear reflectorized vests when driving in Cebu City roads will no longer take effect, said Mayor Tomas Osmeña Friday morning, April 6.

NEW. President Rodrigo Duterte has tapped Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo Guevarra as the new Department of Justice (DOJ) secretary, replacing Vitaliano Aguirre II.

SIGNED. The government's petition seeking to declare the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA), as terror groups would not be withdrawn until a peace agreement is signed.
