Construction worker nabbed in Guagua drug bust

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A 20-year-old construction worker from Barangay Bangcal, Guagua town was arrested by authorities during a drug bust on Sunday.

The suspect identified as Khristian Mendoza was arrested in Barangay Maimpis after selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) to an undercover agent.

City of San Fernando police chief Superintendent Roland Agohob said that the suspect is a newly identified drug personality and his illegal activities was only tipped by an anonymous source.

Also confiscated from Mendoza’s possession were additional nine small sachets of shabu and a sachet of suspected marijuana dry leaves.

Mendoza is now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and is currently detained in this station in Barangay Maimpis.
