FOUR Chinese nationals and four Filipinos were arrested on Thursday, April 12, during a raid conducted by anti-narcotics agents in an alleged clandestine laboratory in Batangas province.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director Aaron Aquino said the discovery of the shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and ecstasy laboratory in Hingoso Farm, Barangay Sto. He said the laboratory can produce at least 25 kilos of illegal drugs each day.
Arrested during the operation were Tian Baoquan and Guo Zixing, who allegedly serves as the chemist in the illegal drugs production, and their alleged Filipino accomplices identified as Eduardo Lorenzo, 59; Rosaleo Cesar, 49 and Amancio Gallarde, 40.
