AFTER the great years of Cebu Marriott Hotel comes Seda Ayala Center Cebu. “Seamless,” as the name connotes. It will spell smooth and scintillating service and amenities. Seda senior group general manager Andrea Mastellone is as excited as Metro Cebu, this being the ninth property of the homegrown property in seven destinations around the country.

The old Marriott edifice is undergoing some dramatic facelifting to make it a competitive business hotel. The lobby will be wider, with higher ceilings, and some 301 guest rooms will be refurbished. The historic ballroom, which saw many events in tourism and corporate groups, will even be more spacious for 300-plus guests and will feature state-of-the-art technical drivers.

At Misto Cebu, food will suit the taste of local and foreign guests. The usual breakfast, lunch and dinner specialties will be equally delectable. Lounge music and rooms for meetings and VIP lounge will create a soothing ambiance.

August 2018 is not so far away when Seda comes alive in Cebu. A hearty welcome.
