IN TIME for the summer season, Chimes Boutiques officially introduces to Dabawenyos Plains and Prints' latest collection.
"This year, Chimes brings the newest collaboration of Plains and Prints with bag designer extraordinaire -- Amina Aranaz-Alunan. The Chimes Aranaz for Plains and Prints preview event is also about showcasing quality products you’ll find only in Chimes," Cindy Louise Yap, Chimes Boutiques vice president, said.
The Aranaz for Plains & Prints collection is a celebration of Filipino artistry and tradition. With a laid-back and effortlessly elegant resort vibe, the collection features eight stylish handbags and seven fashion pieces that combine the unique design elements of Aranaz with Plains & Prints’ signature silhouettes and fabric designs.
"When we decided to collaborate with Plains and Prints, what we wanted to do is bring in the signature of Aranaz which are the pineapples, flamingos, and tropical botanical, which you will see in the designs that we did," Aranaz-Alunan, who is also the creative director of Aranaz, said during the preview at the Chimes flagship store, along Governor Sales St., on April 13, 2018.
Guests at the preview had their first look of the colorful collection with a fashion show that showcased the fashion pieces and the handbags.
"One of the best things about this event is that we get to showcase first in Davao and we also get to feature the store’s curated selection of unique and incredibly beautiful pieces in fashion, healthy living, and home that everyone would want to buy and have," said Ia Alano-Vergel de Dios, Chimes Business Unit Head.
You can buy the colorful apparel and handbags at the Chimes Boutiques. The apparel will also be available in all Plains & Prints stores nationwide and online at www.plainsandprints.com, Zalora, Lazada and Amazon, while the handbags will be available exclusively in select branches and online platforms only.
