Murals to beautify Stone Hill

MURALS designed by local artists will adorn homes in Stone Hill, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Tourism Regional Director for Cordillera Venus Tan said Stone Hill was chosen for the project because it is the first sight that greets visitors as they enter the provincial capital.

Tan said paint companies have pledged to pitch in by providing the paint and other materials.

She said she is meeting with Mayor Edna Tabanda so that work on the murals could start before the year ends.

The tourism department will coordinate with Tabanda in choosing from a variety of designs drawn by the local artist group, Tam -Awan Village.

A similar project is being considered for Quirino Hill in Baguio City.
