"TOGETHER We Grow And Do More," the theme for the Dasia’s Management Committee (Mancom) Team Building held last November 7 and 8 at Costa Marina Barangay Limao, Igacos.
The main objective for the teambuilding is to have a stronger team ready to face great challenges for the coming years of the company.
The teambuilding was participated by the Management Committee of Davao Security and Investigation Agency (Dasia). There were series of lectures and group dynamics through games to evaluate the learning and experiences.
One of the group dynamics of the activity was to build a prototype on-the-spot Dasia house for a limited period of time which the group of Col.
Santiago V. Menor (Ret.), the newly appointed Dasia General Manager, had aced.
He said: “This is the first time in the 43 years of existence of Dasia to conduct a team building for the managers. Our team made a Dasia model house with a strong foundation because this is what we are also hoping for Dasia to have.”
The event was participated by Federico B. Lagazo, System & Internal Audit Consultant; Christine D. Avillon, the new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Dasia; Mr. Arthur Jun C. Paciente, the newly appointed KADSIA General Manager for Armored Cars Division; Ms. Estelita B. Cabigquis, Treasury Manager; and Gerardo Sebastian R. Nucum, Human Resource & Development Manager.
All the participants said that the event was successful and fun at the same time. It awakened them to be an improved individual who can work as a team.
As the speaker and facilitator for the teambuilding Mr. Cristelito T. Abadilla said: “I was amazed by the outcomes of the activities. All of them really worked hard. I believe that it is just the first step. Hopefully in the near future, these people have attained the goals they had for the company.” (Mary Grace S. Laput)
