Crocodile Park's newest attraction

AS THE market demands for something new, Davao Crocodile Park, which is becoming as one of Davao City's key tourist destinations, opened its newest attraction, the Wild Museum, last December 1, making this year's Holiday season even more special.

"Every now and then people are asking and looking for what is new, so we open this Wild Museum. This is perfect for the family, friends, and school educational tour and to everyone especially this Christmas season," Philip "Sonny" Dizon, owner of the park said.

The museum inside the park will be part of the tour package and features an ornamental pond filled with a school of Koi, a bone collection of different land and water animal creatures, replica of Lolong, the then largest crocodile in captivity in the world, close encounter with the tigers thru tiger climb and feeding, snake massage with a Burmese Python and a view of the Farmville where one can feed the ostriches.

Visitors will surely find the park even more attractive and educational with the park's new offering, according to Dizon.

The tour package also includes the entrance to Davao Butterfly House, Tribu K'Mindanawan, enjoy the Bird show and the Animal Got Talent Show, Crocodile feeding, other Wildlife Interactive activities, tightrope walking, fire dance show subject for schedule of activities arranged by the Davao Crocodile Park.

Reassuring the visitors concern on safety, Davao Crocodile Park accentuates that before anything else safety is on their paramount concern apart from wildlife conservation and good tourism services.

"As for safety, we make sure that visitors would feel secured and safe especially that we are dealing with wild animals in the park, we provide monthly training for our manpower and animal caretakers," Dizon said.

He also emphasized that they in house veterinarians, animal nutritionists and animal scientists to ensure the welfare of the animals.

Since the opening of the Wild museum, it was warmly welcome by the market.

"The response since we opened the museum is quite good, we expect it because usually during holiday seasons is our peak season but we are positive that it will be sustained even after Christmas," Dizon said.

One need not to go beyond the vicinity of the city to be in a place where learning and enjoying the rich flora and fauna of Davao City is possible, Davao Crocodile Park which is located inside the Riverfront Corporate City along diversion road, Ma-a, this city is always open for tourist and adventurers wild exploration.
