The Holy Rosary Parish and the Mirabilia Dei Foundation, Inc. invite you to celebrate this wonderful world through a Christmas Concert entitled Celebrating Creation on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the ApungMamacalulu Shrine. The concert takes its inspiration from Pope Francis' encyclical, Laudato Si, wherein the Holy Father talks about care and respect for the environment and issues an “urgent challenge to protect our common home”. What can be a more opportune time to celebrate creation than the Christmas season when all creation experiences a rebirth and renewed hope? Headlining the concert is the exceptional Mirabilia Dei Children's Choir and String Orchestra with Rev. Fr. Andres Dragon, Jr. as special guest. Also performing are the Mirabilia Dei “Junior” Children’s Choir, pianist Ms. Carell Ethilca Belandres and the tenors and basses of the Holy Angel University Chorale.
The concert does not only put the spotlight on care for the environment but will help raise funds for the ongoing construction of a School of Liturgical Music and nurture the musical education of gifted children as well.
