Horseback riding and more

THE Christmas break has started and it will be a good two weeks or less for more bonding time with the family. As a new alternative, there is this new horse farm in Barangay E. Lizares in the City of Talisay to bring the kids.

Called the Happy Horse Farms Equestrian Center (HHFEC), this horse farm was born from the love of animals of Jet and Antoinette Lacson. Primarily established as a riding school, the HHFEC is also where good horsemanship, love for nature and the outdoors and proper care and respect for animals are fostered.

At HHFEC, equine services range from stabling, horse training, English riding lessons, trail rides, pony rides, and riding clinics with top riders from Manila are offered. One can also do trails across the neighboring haciendas.

For a taste of local color, kids can enjoy carabao rides and their two resident goats that kids and adults can feed.

Currently, HHFEC facilities include an outdoor arena, 10 stables, two paddocks and a locker cabana where guests and riders can freshen up.

Horse facilities are likewise prioritized and there are 10 horses in their roster, some of which are still in training, some are experienced school horses that have won in competitions in Manila. Stabling services are likewise offered.

Jet and Antoinette says anyone can come and visit, however, they do require advanced bookings. Horses have strict regimes there is a need to plan their days ahead.

For Jet and Antoinette, “At HHF, our animals are our family, and this is what we would like to impart to all our visitors.”
