Veterans Bank raises loan ceiling for pensioners

PHILIPPINE Veterans Bank (PVB), the commercial bank owned by Filipino World War II veterans and their descendants, is making this Christmas merrier for its pensioners with the twin launch of its improved pension loan and Christmas promo.

STARTING THIS month, Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) pensioners can get as much as P100,000 in pension loans from the Philippine Veterans Bank.

Previously, the bank offered pensioners were limited to a loan of P20,000 and P45,000.

Pensioners can also re-avail of the higher loan amount as long as they have paid at least two amortizations of their current loan.

As a Christmas promo, PVAO pensioners who avail of the P100,000 loan from December 11 to 29 will receive a special appliance gift from PVB.

To be eligible for the promo, a pensioner simply has to apply for the P100,000 loan at any of PVB’s 60 branches nationwide. Once the loan is approved and credited, the pensioner receives a gift voucher which can then be used to claim a prize from partner merchants. (PR)
