IT WAS an "applerrific" day when Mott's 100% Apple Juice was launched at Rekado Davao last December 10.
Fly Ace Corporation, the distributor of the product here gave insights to few numbers of visitors on the benefits of drinking apple juice. It all started with S.R. Moot, who has been growing apples in New York since 1842.
Using some techniques he learned from his grandfather, Mott perfected an advanced pasteurization and filtration techniques at his mill that resulted in the popularity of his products. Jasmine Capule, Fly Ace Senior Product Manager said that Mott's 100% Original Apple Juice arrived here in the country during 1980's.
"Ang every eight-ounce serving ng Mott's Apple Juice will give you two servings of fruit and 120% Daily Value Vitamin C," Capule said.
She added that a one serving of apple juice will give your body a nice boost of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It is also loaded with potassium that keeps the heart and bones stronger.
While Cheshire Que, a Philippine and USA registered dietitian-nutritionist, added that Mott's Apple Juice is a perfect source of Vitamin C. Que also shared to the guests during the launching some tips on how to buy products in the market by checking its labels, understanding its content.
"Every time we buy those goods sa market, it's a must na we check the labels, tingnan natin what are the ingredients, etc."
Aside from sharing her expertise, Que also gave few samples of her recipe that uses Mott's Apple Juice, such as Popcorn Clusters, Perky Pancakes, and Mott's Ale Mocktail.
Drinking an apple juice protects the heart because of its antioxidant flavonoids and phytonutrients. It also helped people with asthma, prevents cancer, it improves memory, helps fight Alzheimer's disease.
It's not surprising as well that Janice Villanueva, founder of Mommy Mundo, the first Philippine brand ambassador of Mott' definitely love the product.
