THE Iloilo Provincial Police Office had arrested a drug syndicate who was carrying some P6-million worth of shabu and was plying via roll-on-roll off (roro) from Manila to Caticlan, Malay, Aklan on Wednesday.
One of the drug couriers, who reportedly came from Muntinlupa City was identified as Jekerie Sepi, 38, a nephew of suspected Iloilo City drug lord Richard Prevendido.
Richard is the head of the notorious Prevendido Drug Gang based in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district in Iloilo City.

With Sepi was Resmia Mustapa, 39, resident of Barangay Culiat, Quezon City.
Mustapa was tagged as the collector of payment from a police asset.
Prevendido and Mustapa were arrested in Barangay Tiolas, San Joaquin, Iloilo.
The suspects took the ship from Metro Manila to Caticlan, Malay and proceeded to Tiolas, San Joaquin passing the Antique route as directed by the police asset.
The suspects are detained at the San Joaquin Police Station.
Provincial police chief Roderick Augustus Alba said this is the biggest haul, so far, at the start of 2016.
