WEARING humble smiles and glittering fashion, the belles of Sinulog Festival Queen 2016 graced the runway at The Northwing, SM City Cebu, 6 p.m., last Jan. 14.

Before the grand coronation night on Jan.15, 11 candidates for the Sinulog Festival Queen 2016 gave the audience a glimpse of their angelic beauties in festival costumes as they went on stage, bringing their Sto. Nino statues.

Judged by Miss Philippines Supranational Rogelie Catacutan, Woong Ki Wang, Michael Manlangit, Matthew Younger-chudnovsky and John Herrera, the Sinulog Festival Queens coming from different places fought for who should be hailed Best in Runway.

Eleven lovely candidates and among all, one stood out. Marianne Hernandez, Sinulog Festival Queen from Carcar City, won the Best in Runway. Following her was Ceydney Basalo from Labangon, Cebu City as first runner-up and Hyra Desiree Betito from Asturias as second runner-up.

Another Sinulog Festival Queen who stood out was Cynthia Thomalla who won a special award as Festival Queen SM. Daryl Kate Dizon, STC Mass Com Intern
