Davao City, Bacoor ink sisterhood

DAVAO City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in behalf of Davao City signed a sisterhood pact with Mayor Strike Revilla of the Bacoor City last Thursday.

Davao City Councilors Danilo Dayanghirang, April Marie Dayap, Mabel Sunga Acosta, Antoinette G. Principe, Myrna Dalodo Ortiz, Bernard Al-ag, Louie John Bonguyan, Nilo AbelleraJr, Al Ryan Alejandre, and Rachel Zozobrado-Nagayo also went to the event.

“The pact meant the continuation of the cooperation in the trade and industry and also exchange of plans and programs even education in both cities,” Dayanghirang said in a phone interview on Friday.

He added that city mayor even invited the constituents of the Bacoor City to have an educational tour in Davao City.

“Ideas will be shared and to be adapted depending on the concerns of each,” Dayanghirang said.

He also added that the sisterhood pact means assistance in calamities, given that even those who are not sister cities of Davao are extended helped by the city. (KVC)
