THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) has released a "Notice to Airmen" indicating a temporary runway closure at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) during certain periods on January 26 and 30 due to VIP movement.

Cebu Pacific and Cebgo said in an advisory that they are arranging the re-accommodation of affected passengers on the soonest available flights.
Those who are unable to take these flights may avail themselves any of the following options without penalties:
* Rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date; or
* Opt for full refund or travel fund.
