THE Lady Knights Football Club (FC) scored a twin kill in the recent opener of the 5th Davao FA U17 Girls League held at the Faith Academy and Tionko football fields.
Lady Knights blanked Aguilas Dabaw FC, 3-0, at Tionko field Sunday behind the heroics of Allyn Ravanes (eighth minute), Johannah Marie Adao (30th) and Patricia Erika Francisco (80th).
This came on the heels of a rousing 11-2 win over host Faith Academy, 11-2, last Saturday.
Julien Meredith Mirto (3rd, 18th, 38th) made a hattrick to lead scoring for the Lady Knights.
Yunika Angala (5th, 33rd), Patricia Erika Francisco (54th, 60th), Johannah Marie Adao (70th, 75th) and Alesandra Ysabel Aquino (46th, 67th) added two goals each.
The tournament, according to Davao Football Association's Rachelle "Ching" delos Reyes, has five teams including PCT-Khanj and CBNHS FC-Perm.
