Former cop reveals Diddy’s involvement in Tupac’s death

AFTER the controversial Making a Murderer series, Netflix is again producing another controversial documentary—Murder Rap, which looks at the death of rival rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.

Former Los Angeles Police Department investigator Greg Kading is claiming that Sean Combs, now professionally known as Diddy, was the mastermind in Shakur’s 1996 murder.

That prompted producer Suge Knight to orchestrate Smalls’ death to retaliate. Smalls was killed in 1997, just six months after Shakur. Their alleged killers were also rivals. Shakur was reportedly silenced by a Crips gang member while Smalls died in the hands of a Bloods gang member.

Knight was backing Shakur while Diddy was behind Small in the 1990s rap scene.

Kading was the task force leader that investigated both rappers’ deaths.

He further claimed that Diddy offered him $1 million to kill Shakur and Knight.

The Netflix show is based on Kading’s book of the same title.

Kading’s book was released in 2011 with less fanfare.

The trailer for the documentary shows Kading and a few other detectives talking about the murders. The documentary is not solely based on Kading’s book but also hundreds of case files that have been shelved. According to Netflix, there are also a few interviews from witnesses who have not surfaced during the investigation.

“Relentless speculations and a web of conspiracy theories and dark secrets,” a voice-over from the trailer said. “For the first time, this is the riveting account of the task force that finally exposed the shocking truths behind the deaths of the two rap music icons.”
