Pangan: Another feather in the cap

AFTER being awarded Best Provincial Peso in January, 2016, Mabalacat City Peso was adjudged Best Regional Peso-Component City last February 17, 2016 at the Year End Performance Assessment (YEPA) activity at Holiday Inn, Clark Freeport Zone.

We at Peso Mabalacat City really worked hard to achieve these awards in succession and thanks go to the staff who consistently performed their assigned tasks, observing DOLE and Provincial Peso guidelines and issuances. They religiously accomplished and submitted Labor Market Information and other reports and Skills Registry forms. Donnie Sayre, Peso Manager of San Fernando previously gave us tips on how to prepare various reports and do some acts which may qualify Peso Mabalacat City for the awards. Thanks to him for the valuable help he extended to us.

We have long aspired to be adjudged Best Peso-Component category. Besting other towns in Pampanga is an achievement in itself; being adjudged Regional Best Peso is an added feather in our cap. Imagine, besting other towns and provinces in Central Luzon!

I was recognized for my being head of Peso Mabalacat City for more than 15 years. I intend to stay in this position for some more years, if the Local Chief Executive (or the next LCE) will allow it.
