Convenience for motorists

CONVENIENCE stores have been opening all around the city. And with this new addition, it is guaranteed that even people on the go would easily be able to get what they need.

“Fuel” not only for cars but also for its owners is what Shell’s biggest highlight aims to provide Cebu. The trusted Select Store has been added with Deli2Go, which provides freshly brewed coffee and delicious sandwiches.

“Deli2Go is a new offer from us. In the past you’re used to the Select Store offering grocery items, snacks and drinks. Now, we’re actually introducing new ready to eat meals and high quality coffee as well. We do this basically because we want to be at the center of our customer’s heart, we want to continuously look for ways to improve the experience of our customers and we simply want to innovate,” shares Anthony Lawrence Yam, vice president for retail of Pilipinas Shell. The opening was also attended by executive vice president of Shell Retail Istvan Kapitany of the Royal Dutch Shell.

Having just opened the first Deli2Go branch in Cebu located at Quezon Highway, Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu last Feb. 10, Pilipinas Shell is currently looking forward to opening its second branch of Deli2Go in Lahug, Salinas Drive, Cebu City.

Pilipinas Shell promises to open 50 Deli2Go stores in the country with over 12 branches opening in Cebu alone.

In addition to redefining customer experience, Shell also added new comfortable bathrooms and a lounge as a renovation to its Shell Helix Oil Change + lube bay. “You’ll be seeing three of our new facilities in this site in Pusok. One is the Deli2Go offer of the Select Store, and two toilets where we actually try to provide a five star experience to our customers. And the third facility that we’re actually opening today is the lounge for our Shell Helix Oil Change,” explains Yam.

Taken all together with these new facilities, the experience of motorists and vehicle owners will never be the same again. “This provides a different experience not only for the car but also for the owner of the car. We’ve been here in this country for 100 years and these three new facilities will continue to realize our vision in this country. With these you can be assured that even in the next hundred years Shell will continue to be looking for new ways to continue to improve the experience of our customers,” adds Yam.
