TERESA (not her real name) is only 30 years old and is facing the prospect of raising her two young children alone after separating from her husband of seven years. She feels she cannot forgive him after all the pain he had caused her. Afraid and feeling emotionally drained, she does not know what to do.
Jingjing silently suffers as her jealous boyfriend tries to control every aspect of her life. She feels suffocated but can’t understand why she can’t just walk away from him. She’s only 20 years old.

The 3rd Colour Me Ladies conference seeks to address the emotional challenges that women face today.
This year’s theme, “Live Free,” embodies the message of Galatians 5:1– “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
First organized in 2014, the Colour Me Ladies conference gathered more than a thousand women from all walks of life for an afternoon of inspiration, prayer and worship.
With the clamor for more in-depth discussions, the conference will now be a whole-day event on March 5 at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City.
Invited guest speakers are primetime actress Jodi Sta. Maria and pop jazz singer Kuh Ledesma, with 700 Club Asia’s Christine Kairuz as keynote speaker.
To address the need of many women, there will be workshops to be handled by seasoned practitioners, namely, Dr. Russell Makiling (Live Free and be Emotionally Happy), Dr. Jiji Harner (Live Free from the Bondage Within) and Dr. Lina Fiel Villegas (Live free from the Relational Challenges of Marriage). Participants may choose among the three workshops.
The conference will start at 9 a.m. and will end at 7 p.m. Registration will start at 8 a.m.
