FORMER government doctor Shalom Lorenzana and his wife Tina, one of the original fitness instructors in the city who also wrote a fitness column in Sun.Star Davao, headed a group of Filipino volunteers in the California area to fan support for the presidency of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Called Salo-salo para kay Digong, the group of volunteers were composed of members and supporters of Filipino Migrants for Genuine Change-USA made up of DDS California, DDS San digeo, Solid Du30 California, Duterte for President Global, and Brotherhood for Duterte.
They gathered more than 300 in a gym in Alhambra, California, on Sunday.
Among the group of people who proudly wore their Duterte shirts were Fil-am crew of Power Rangers.
This is the first of its kind yet organized among Filipino-Americans for a presidential candidate. (PR)
