THE Dover bowlers emerged champion in the 79th Araw ng Dabaw Davao City Bowlers Association (Daciba) Bowling Tournament that concluded Friday at the Doverlanes.
Bong Vergara, Molong Pore, Gerry Farine Noli Bae and Arnel Aluyan stirred Dover to beat Jonzlibz, Davao City Water District (DCWD) and Diagold who settled for the next three spots.
Danny Arellano, meanwhile, clinched the Master Game title beating Marloue Castillo, Joel Pamaran and Helen Pogoy.
Capturing the award for the highest team single is Homer with a total of 669 pinfalls while Diagold hit 1211 pinfalls to win the highest team double.
Louie Tandingan, meanwhile, toppled a total of 456 pins to win the highest individual double as Nonoy Baluyot secured the highest individual single after hitting 289.
Jojo Gonzaga, for his part, went home with the highest pinning award with 97 pinfalls.
The winners received went home with cash prizes in the bowlfest backed by the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor’s Office.
