Broker nabbed in Davao drug bust

A REAL estate broker was arrested in a drug bust Friday afternoon.

San Pedro police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the operation around 4:30 p.m. at the corner of Aurora Quezon St. and Rizal Extension in Barangay 36-D.

Authorities arrested 53-year-old Raul Mallari Salvador, a real estate broker and a resident of the same place.

Police said the suspect was arrested after he handed over to an undercover agent a sachet containing suspected shabu (crystal meth) in exchange of P500.

The police seized two sachets of shabu worth P10,000, and the P500 marked money from the suspect.

The suspect is now detained at San Pedro Police Station while waiting for filing of appropriate charges against him. (CCC)
