#SHORTS: Save, recycle water; Voters’ receipts? Pay more for poll duties; City official: Piapi fire affected 262 families

RECYCLE. The Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) has urged consumers to save and recycle water with the El Niño phenomenon projected to last last until the end of May.

POLL DUTIES. Teachers serving in the May 9 elections will have to stay in the polling precincts for six to eight more hours now that they need to issue voters’ receipts.

DAVAO. Around 262 families were affected by the fire that razed through three barangays in Davao City last Monday, an official said.
