Pusher falls in raid, P600T drugs seized

POLICE arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized more than P600,000 worth of illegal drugs in Barangay Lamac, Pinamungahan last Saturday afternoon.

The team led by Insp. Gilfred Baroman, the town police chief, collared Allan Ulindang in a buy-bust.

Seized from the suspect were four small sachets and 10 big packs of white crystals believed to be shabu inside a black coin pouch and the two P100 marked bills used by the police in entrapping him.

The contraband weighed 52 grams, whose value the Dangerous Drugs Board set at P613,000.

Before he was arrested, Ulindang did not know he was dealing with a police officer, PO1 Michael Vincent Balicoco, who pretended to be a junkie.

Ulindang handed to Balicoco a sachet of shabu, then the latter gave the marked bills to the suspect in return.

After the transaction, the police officer signaled to Baroman and the rest of his teammates. The team rushed to their direction and placed Ulindang under arrest.

The policemen then frisked Ulindang and found the coin pouch.

In Barangay Poblacion, Argao, Hermenegildo Pantujan Sardido, 27, was caught carrying 12 sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,664 last Friday morning.

The illegal drugs were sent to the Crime Laboratory in Cebu City for examination. The operations were coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7.

Complaints for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the suspects.
