GRADUATION day is something not only students look forward to, but Mommy, Daddy, Lolo, and Lola as well. In fact, it is a day of jubilation for the whole family and barangay.
Whether it is just graduating from kinder, it is a happy occasion. From the humblest of preparations to the more lavish, the family goes out to celebrate. This is the time of the year when restaurants are filled.
For college graduates, there is much reflection on the years that have past and looking ahead in the future, all fired up to change the world.
While kinder graduates still have a long way to go, graduation day does not end one’s quest for learning for the college student. Until we reach the end of our lives, there is always knowledge to be acquired. As Albert Einstein puts it, “the important thing is not to stop questioning.”
With every graduation, there will be a longer queue for job applications. Dismally thinking, the roster of the unemployed lengthens. However, graduation day is for encouraging thoughts despite the odds.
