HEART Evangelista believes her husband, Senator Francis Escudero, did a "very good job" during the vice presidential debate on Sunday.
In an interview with the actress after the Commission on Elections' organized event at the University of Sto. Tomas, the actress said Escudero was able to present himself well.
"Okay naman (ang kanyang performance). Nakaka-stress pala yung ganun, it's my first time. Ngayon ko lang na-experience 'yun," Evangelista said.
She believes that Escudero was able to convince the people to vote for him.
"Sumasagot lang siya kapag kailangan niya sumagot and I think his character really showed."

When asked if she was affected by issues raised against her husband during the debate, Evangelista said politics is similar to show business and she's used to it.
He immediately said that the vice presidential debate was stressful.
"Parang din naman sa showbiz, ganun din talaga yata. Buti na lang na-train ako ng 18 years kaya medyo okay ako. Pero nakaka-stress, hindi ko maipagkakaila," she said.
Escudero will go head-to-head against Senators Allan Peter Cayetano, Antonio Trillanes, Gringo Honasan, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo for the vice presidential seat in the May 2016 polls. (Sunnex)
