LEXMARK Cebu has received two top awards from the International Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Awards Philippines for 2016, marking the third straight year the company has been recognized.
The annual International ICT Awards Philippines recognizes achievements and excellence in organizations and individuals based in the Philippines that have made valuable contributions to the industry and put the Philippines on the global map of the information technology and business process management industry.
Lexmark won the coveted prize in the ICT industry award, “Best Company of the Year Outside NCR,” along with “Most Innovative Company of the Year” at the 10th International ICT Awards Philippines 2016 Gala Night last March 22. This is the second consecutive year Lexmark received both awards, which were received by Lexmark Cebu general manager Elena Palacios.
The Most Innovative Company of the Year recognizes the company that has adopted and contributed advanced solutions, innovations and technologies in the IT-BPM industry in 2015.
The Best Company of the Year Outside NCR is given to the outstanding company with a head office and main operations located outside of the National Capital Region (NCR) deemed to have been the most inspirational role model for geographical diversification.
These distinctions were awarded to Lexmark by both the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines.
In 2014, Lexmark won Best Global In-House Center of the Year at the 8th International ICT Awards Philippines. In 2015, Lexmark won Best Employer of the Year, Best Company of the Year Outside NCR and Most Innovative Company.
The Cebu Educational Development Foundation for Information Technology (CEDFIT) nominated Lexmark this year. (PR)
