4 killed in Pampanga, Bulacan raids

CAMP OLIVAS - Four persons were killed while four others were arrested during simultaneous raids, on Thursday, in Pampanga and Bulacan.

Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) director Chief Superintendent Rudy Lacadin identified those killed as Jaypee Aguilar and Arnel Lacap, both residents of Barangay Malusac in Sasmuan, Pampanga and Mark Gonzales and a certain alias Diokno, both of Barangay Poblacion, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Those arrested were identified as Ronald Aguilar of Sasmuan, Pampanga, Mel Kenneth Alcantara Dinal, Nino Camonoga and Jonathan Manlapaz, all residents of Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Lacadin said policemen armed with search warrants raided the houses of the Aguilar and Gonzales when fighting ensued.

He said that when the raiding team returned fired; the slain suspects suffered gunshot wounds in the body and died on the spot.

Recovered from the suspects were a hand grenade, two calibre .9mm pistols, two calibre 38 revolvers, one caliber .22 rifle, a calibre .22 revolver, several bullets, 15 shabu sachets and drug paraphernalia.

Lacadin said that PRO3 will continue its unwavering efforts to fight criminality within the region and will keep on reinvigorating its anti-criminality campaigns. (Ric Sapnu)
