Flame It! dangles hefty prizes

LOADS of raffle prizes will be at stake in the second edition of Flame It! Burger Run slated on May 15 at the Sugbo Grounds, South Road Properties.

One of the organizers and the chief operations officer of Flame It! Burger, Ella Villacin, said that among the raffle prizes will be vacation packages to Panglao, Bohol, Siargao Island and Mactan. She said that the grand raffle prize will be a Ninebot.

The registered runners will be given one raffle ticket, but they can also buy another raffle coupon on the venue.

“We will have a breakfast plate all you can on the venue for P99 pesos inclusive with raffle ticket. The runners and spectators can purchase a breakfast plate and get a raffle coupon also,” she said.

The run, which is for the benefit of the running grassroots kids, will feature the men’s and women’s 21-kilometer, 14K individual, 14K group and 5K categories. There will be a 3K category for the grassroots children.

The group category will comprise five runners—three males and two females.

The organizers said that they are expecting around 1,500 runners on the second year of the event. The run is part of the 14th year anniversary of Flame It! Burger.

Registration fee is at P450 for the 5K, P600 for the 14K, P800 for the 21K and P2,700 for the 14K group inclusive with singlet, race bib and finishers' medal. All the finishers in the 21K and 14K will also each receive a finishers' kit.
