UNHERALDED Paul Palacio emerged champion in the Datba Weekly Singles Tournament at the NCCC Mall B3 Center lanes Tuesday evening.
Palacio hit a total of 831 pinfalls after four games to prevail over 10 other players entered in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Mike Aquiatan rolled 824 pins to place second while Toto Delfin was third after toppling 807 pins.
Palacio pocketed a cash prize of P600 while Aquiatan and Delfin took home P400 and P200, respectively.
Trailing behind were Bam Tongo (781), Ronald Martin (768), Sonny Dimaano (755), Paquito Santos (752), Rene Zabat (748), Joshua Disuacido (746), Danny Usman (742), Junix Allawan (737), lawyer Rudy Tongo (728) and Sammy Talaboc (699).
Winners will advance to the monthly finals that will stake bigger cash prizes plus trophies.
