PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III urged the Filipino workers in his Labor Day message to join the administration in sustaining the gains in the last six years so the country could reap the fruits of its economic developments.
In his Labor Day message, which Communication Undersecretary Manuel Quezon III read in a radio interview over dzRB Radyo ng Bayan Saturday, Aquino lauded the Filipino workers for their hard work as they dream for a better future for their families.
Under his leadership, the workers responded to the call to build better relations with the industry, adopted fast-evolving technologies and proved that Filipino workers can compete in the global market, the President said.
Overseas workers as well as the members of the uniformed services also joined the march towards national transformation and reform, he said.
Filipinos are proud of the volunteerism among themselves aimed at elevating the quality of work in the Philippine society, according to the President.
