BONIFACIO Monjas of City of Naga and Mereeis Ramirez conquered the Argao Highlands Endurance Trail Run 2016, which started at Cebu Technological University-Argao Campus and ended at Coal Mountain Resort in Argao last Sunday.
Monjas, an education student of Professional Academy of the Philippines, topped the men’s 25-km. trail race in two hours and one minute and 57.97 seconds. In the distaff side, weekend warrior Mereeis Ramirez of Dumaguete City overwhelmed the field and finished in 2:59:56. Lijeavan Noay claimed second place in 3:29:32, while Karla Cosep clocked 3:31:44 for third place.
Jelma Monsanto and Daisy Batac had a time of 3:34:07 and 3:46:07 for fourth and fifth place, respectively.
