NO LONGER a fashion faux pas, matchy-matchy outfits is now guaranteed to earn you serious points. Dressing with your children has even gotten some celebrity street cred these days with top stars donning matching outfit with their kids.
It was a runway riot at the recently concluded Runway Twinning’s last May 28, 2016 at SM City Davao, Annex Event Center.
Runway Twining’s features parents and kids walk the runway like a pro and showcase their best summer look.
For a minimum purchase of P1,000 pesos from SM Kids, parents and children will have the chance to be models on the runway.
Runway Twinnings is open to kids ages 4 to 12 years old and have shopped with their Mom’s and Dad’s. SM City Davao’s resident stylist has prepped the participants before walking the ramp. To the delight of the crowd, and the beat of house music, six batches of 10-mother and daughter and father and son team, ruled the stage.
I had the privilege of interviewing all the featured models asking them questions about their chosen outfits and their summer ensembles, notably cheerful and charming, the models progressed two by two, models impressed onlookers as they displayed their modeling talents with great confidence and poise.
Summer looks includes floral tank tops matched with denim colored shorts, graphic tees with printed and colored shorts, boxy tees, floral tees, tunic tops muscle tees, polo shirts, stripe one pocket tee and allover printed tees.
SM City Davao pulled off a different twist to matchy-matchy summer wear; the outfits were among the trendiest runway looks and the season’s best fashion trends.
