Cebu police stage rally vs illegal drugs

MEMBERS of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in Central Visayas held Monday, June 27, an anti-drug rally at Fuente Osmena City in Cebu City.

Police Superintendent Clarito Baja said the rally was conducted to inform the public that the Philippine National Police (PNP) is serious in fighting against illegal drugs.

He added that it is also their way of supporting incoming President Rodrigo Duterte.

The rally Monday was participated by around 1,500 people, including police personnel from different city and provincial police offices, together with members of non-government organizations.

The activity was led by PRO-Central Visayas Director PatrociƱo Commendador Jr.

It was part of the PRO's celebration of the 21st Police Community Relations Month, a ceremony that awards deserving police personnel, offices and units that have immensely contributed to the attainment of the PNP's goals and objectives.
