PRICES of some fruits have continued to decrease due to oversupply and lesser demand from the market while vegetables have remained stable based on price monitoring conducted at Bankerohan Public Market.
The price of rambutan reduced from P50 to P30, marang from P40 to P30, grapes from P250 to P200 per kilo and durian from P100 to P50 per kilo.
But prices of ripe mangoes increased from P60 to P80 and avocado from P40 to P50.
Prices of pomelo has remained stable at P120, watermelon for P25 per kilo and guyabano for P35 per kilo.
Vegetable prices have remained the same from last week. The squash remained P20 per kilo, kangkong for P5 per bundle, malunggay for P5 per bundle, okra for P7 per bundle, eggplant (talong) for P10 per bundle, cucumber for P50 per kilo and P10 each, sayote for P10 per piece and pechay for P5 per bundle.
Price of chicken increased from P120 to P123 per kilo, pork is still the same for P160 per kilo and beef for P240 per kilo.
Prices of commonly bought seafoods decreased like tilapia from p110 to P100, squid from P200 to P100 and milkfish (bangus) from P130 to P110 while mussel increased from P50 to P60 per kilo.
