Team formed vs pyramiding

DAVAO City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte said they formed the Anti-Bulatik team to address the proliferation of multilevel marketing companies in the city and the internet that are into pyramiding.

Duterte in a media interview Monday, July 4, at the City Mayor’s Office said that the Anti-Bulatik team composed of Philippine National Police retirees is already set to monitor pyramiding scams all over the city.

This year three multi-level marketing companies, Jacama, Pedro-Velasco (Pedve) marketing firm, and Shoppers Center were closed due to their alleged involvement in soliciting illegal investments from the public.
