Diocese of Dumaguete to have a new priest

THE Diocese of Dumaguete will have a new priest in the person of Rev. Romolito Zerna Reyes, who is set for ordination Tuesday at the Cathedral of the St. Catherine of Alexandria in Dumaguete City.

Bishop Julito Cortes will preside the Eucharistic Celebration at which he will ordain the new priest.

Rev. Reyes is the son of Romulo Reyes and Lydia Zerna from the St. James The Greater Parish in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.

He graduated college with a Philosophy degree in 2010 at the St. Joseph Seminary College in Sibulan, Negros Oriental, which is run by the Diocese of Dumaguete, and finished his Theology at the University of Sto. Tomas Central Seminary in 2013.

Rev. Reyes is the second priest to be ordained this year in the Diocese of Dumaguete.

Last March 15, Bishop Cortes also ordained to priesthood Rev. Fr. Ryan Jay Deposoy from Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental. (PNA)
