SANTA ANA--Some 40 suspected drug users voluntarily turned themselves to the authorities here recently.
This was disclosed by Mayor Norberto "Ross" Gamboa yesterday after the third batch of drug users were presented to him by the local police.
"Marami na ang sumusuko, tuluy-tuloy sila. Actually pangatlo na itong 26 na ito and we are expecting more," Gamboa said, adding that the drug personalities are readily surrendering in fear of being included on the killings being done on other suspects.
He added that he will also seek the guidance of Governor Lilia Pineda in providing employment to the drug dependents.
Meanwhile, Gamboa assured that cases involving drugs in his municipality are only limited to drug users.
