AT LEAST 13 drug pushers and buyers were caught in the continuing crackdown on illegal drugs in three different areas in Cebu province.
Arrested in Cogon, Guinsay, Danao City, were Junie Tito Casas, Joey Tito Casas, Joerey Tito Casas and Rex Hermosilla Casinillo after personnel from Danao City Police Office conducted a drug bust in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas around 1 a.m. Friday, July 8.
Police recovered a total of 15 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu worth P6,608.
Around 2:15 a.m., police caught Jovelyn Bagatsolon Tito and Senen Laurente Dayon together with two drug buyers, Ginoo Marinee Ontal Vaflor and Niño Rian Mata Morales, on National Road, also in Guinsay, Danao City.
A total of 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P4,720 and a motorcycle were recovered from the suspects.
In Carcar City, Alvin Nacario was nabbed after a concerned citizen called the police and informed them about a suspected drug peddler last July 7, Thursday.
Police Officer 1 Robert Gemoya confiscated from Nacario three sachets of illegal drugs.
In Consolacion, police confiscated six sachets of illegal drugs from Anthony "Tonton" Remegio Alicaway and his three costumers Pricess Labunos Patigayon, Nena Luceno Dizon and Keely fuertes Teofilo. (Tovya Kaiko Galeon, USJR intern/Sunnex)
