CONSIDERING the number of performers during the 45th Anniversary of Janette Garcia Sanchez’s dance school one can say it was all an act of love.
Participants with just a practice or two for the numbers cared less that it was not executed to perfection. What was important was they were there to express their appreciation for what this dance school has done for them.
In the words of Teacher Gianne Sanchez-Sanson about her Mom’s 45th Anniversary Ballet recital: “This is not a recital, this is a homecoming. There was something extra special about this production... and as I keep looking at this picture, it affirms to me the fact that beyond the gift of dance, is the treasure of generations of dancers that have become no longer just students, but pieces of a very, very huge family!”
