Prince Hypermart holds Sari-Sari Store Festival
THE annual Sari-Sari Store Festival is back. The exciting news is it’s bigger, better and grander than ever.
u201cWith more attractions and more surprises this year, spectators are in for an unforgettable celebration,” said Prince Hypermart CEO and president Robert Go.
Now on its 11th edition, the growing, fiesta-inspired convention will bring together thousands of store owners, suppliers, distributors, sponsors, and exhibitors from all over Cebu.
Formed in 1990, Prince Hypermart is the largest warehouse club in Cebu and is constantly expanding in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. The Prince Retail Group of companies has grown to 25 branches.
For this year, Prince Hypermart will go all out to deliver a monumental event to delight everyone.
u201cFilipinos celebrate fiestas to express gratitude for the blessings that they have received. For us in Prince Hypermart, we hold this festival to acknowledge and honor all our patrons who continue to support us in every step of the way,” said Prince Hypermart chief operations officer Rhea Go-Lao.
Adopting the theme, “Pista sa Tindahang Royalty,” the 11th Sari-Sari Store Festival will be on Aug. 13 at the IEC Pavilion in Mabolo, Cebu City.
One of the most sought-after celebrities in the Philippines, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition 4 winner Myrtle Sarrosa will also grace the event.
Among the highlights of the 11th Sari-Sari Store Festival is the introduction of the Royalty Platinum Program that gives loyal customers access to perks, special deals, and promotions. Every P200 purchase in the supermarket and P100 spent in the general merchandise merits one value point equivalent to P1.
Throughout the festival, trainings will be conducted to equip the small-scale sector with skills and strategies to effectively grow their businesses. This has been the advocacy of Prince Hypermart, which is to help and empower retailers to boost their respective local economies.
u201cDoing this is a better way to encourage long-term economic growth and help these communities lead better lives. We try to help out in whatever way we can by focusing on the underserved localities that have fewer access to goods, services, and opportunities,” Prince Hypermart supply chain manager Rina Go said.
