More drug users, pushers surrender in Davao

MORE drug pushers and users have surrendered to authorities in Davao City, according to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).

DCPO yesterday reported 10 drug suspects yielded on Saturday, eight of whom have been endorsed to San Pedro Police Station and two others to Talomo Police Station for custodial debriefing.

A total of 131 more from different barangays also surrendered to police authorities on Sunday.

Of these surrenderees, 65 were endorsed to Tugbok police, 50 to Bunawan police, four to San Pedro police, four to Baguio police, three to Marilog police, four to Toril police, and one to Calinan police station.

The surrenderees will undergo documentation and recording of their identities, and custodial debriefing.

So far, the DCPO has recorded 1,118 total drug users and pushers who surrendered to the police authorities in Davao City since President Rodrigo Duterte has assumed post on July 1. (Pol Jayson Dagoc/MSU Intern/And Jacques Axid Rosello/UIC Intern)
