TEAM Felizarta defeated Trangia, 73-53, in the second Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (Pice) Davies Basketball Club tournament finals held recently at the Brokenshire Recreational Center, Madapo Hills, Davao City.
Felizarta top scorer Antonio Pardillo poured in 17 points as teammate Eustac Ian Mangao chipped in 16.
Team Felizata was powered by engineers Joseph Dominic Felizarta, Rodel Pingol, Angelito Bitangga along with Melchor Ramos, Jr., Oriel Siangco, Jonee Bagaslao, Reneboy Ariola, Ramel Francisco, Jojie Garcia, James Patrick Nerosa and ArnelBorja.
Trangia, for its part, was bannered by Engineers Vicente Trangia, Jr., Matt Ronald Tan, Julius Libre, Jr., Roberto Mamaril, Rodolfo Rojas III, Bonette Baylosis, Dindo Corda, Arnel Bernardino and Rodrigo Ramos, Jr. along with Wines Marleven Bonsay, FerdiePantinople and Sean Thomas Tan.
Team Palban, meanwhile, placed third in the event organized by Pice Davao City Chapter.
Winners received cash prizes and medals from the organizers. Mangao was hailed as most valuable player (MVP).
The third Pice Davies Basketball Club tournament is set to kick off next month. (ABM)
