A VENDOR was found dead inside a sugarcane plantation at Burgos Extension, Hacienda Lourdes in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City on Wednesday morning.
Police identified the fatality as Ricardo Mahilum, 68, of Zone 5, Abada-Escay, Barangay Vista Alegre.
Senior Inspector John Ganzon, chief of Police Station 4, said Mahilum was found by Jun Latosa around 7:30 a.m.
He said the victim, who was suffering from a stroke, went inside the sugarcane plantation to relieve himself.
The police ruled out foul play as there were no signs of struggle, and the victim did not have injuries.
Ganzon said the belongings of the victim are still intact.
He said they already requested for an autopsy. (MAP)
