More of the snap reunion

IT WAS a fun-filled day not only of learning some bit of history of our 14 grandparents, but also of bonding and getting-to-know you.

When families make an effort to fly in and get to be reconnected with long lost relatives, it is proof that indeed blood ties play a most significant role in our lives.

When the games, and the eating came to a close at five in the afternoon, and the rest had still enough energy to party and mingle, we were transported to the Promenade of Las Palmas. What an ideal way to end the day’s celebration.

At first, the event was threatened by dark nimbus clouds, but the wind in participation with the merry making, decided to blow them all way and we were treated to a most beautiful sunset and a great weather.

A duo in keyboard and violin treated us with a variety of soothing music until some family members couldn’t just resist to go up the stage and be part of the entertainment.

Thank you Lord for bringing us together! Long live the Lizares-Alunan clan!
