Enclaves first condo completed by year-end

CONSTRUCTION of the first building of Enclaves Residences of the Matina Enclaves, the maiden mixed-use property development project of homegrown Escandor Development Corp. (Esdevco) is still on track and set to be completed by year-end, an official said.

Matina Enclaves project director Gerald Kent Garces said units for the first building is set for turnover to owners by December of this year.

Matina Enclaves is a 5.3-hectare development situated along Quimpo Boulevard in Matina, just across Matina Golf Club a residential community offering a sanctuary from the metro’s hustle and bustle.

It offers three residential, an open lot development through its pocket development called “The Plains,” single-detached houses in “The Courtyard” and a condominium living concept through its Medium-Rise Condominium Project, called “The Enclaves Residences.”

“For the building two, we already completed the piling and we will start the structural activity by this month (August),” Garces said.

He added that Building 3 piling is set to commence by the fourth quarter of this year.

The building 4 of the Enclaves Residences was launch last May 15 and after over two months inventory, Garces said is now down to five percent already.

“For the fourth building, construction is targeted to start by mid next year and it is scheduled to be turned-over by middle of 2019,” he said.

Garces further bared that the launch of its building 5 is seen to infuse a total of 230 units (combination of Studio, 1BR, 2BR and 3BR units).

Also, building 5 construction will start by third quarter of 2017 and will be turned-over to owners by the end of 2019.

“So far, so good, when it comes to the sales, we can describe it as brisk, very good performance in sales as a whole,” Garces said.

When asked about the updates of the Arcadia Sports Complex, Garces was quick to add that on-going excavation and structural preparation is underway.

At Arcadia Sports Complex, getting in shape at the fitness gym while the children sweat it out at the kids gymboree, or playing basketball with friends after a stressful day at work are all possible.

Arcadia Sports Complex is expected to be the city's new premier hub.

Conceptualizing the sports complex came easy as Esdevco president and CEO Glen Escandor, a basketball fanatic himself, has a reputable track record in leisure and hospitality through The Royal Mandaya Hotel, considered to be one of Davao City's landmarks, commercial and property development, retail and security services (Davao Security and Investigation Agency, Inc. or Dasia).

“Arcadia is more than just any regular gym we find here in Davao City,” Garces said. (ASP)
